From signature cocktails to aerialist performers at the reception (we’ve done that!) and more — we’ll work with you to incorporate unique elements above and beyond your wedding package and build the perfect event. Custom food and drinks are a popular addition to any event, and can really personalize the wedding. Beyond our own catering menu (recently updated!), our in-house kitchen staff can create unique culinary experiences like a mac and cheese station, taco stand, or late-night chicken and waffles for your guests. We’re also happy to work with you to create a menu of signature cocktails for your reception — named after the bride and groom, your hometown, or more! Our team also has a network of trusted vendors who can help with any other requests, whether you’re looking for a traditional cultural dish, or catering to specific dietary needs.

Decor

Couples who get married on our beaches are lucky — the natural decor provided by our sugar-white sand and emerald waters is strikingly beautiful on its own. But if you’re looking for something extra, we have plenty to offer. Whether you want a subtle arbor with draping as your ceremony backdrop, or a custom wall of roses to serve as a statement piece for the reception — we can make it happen.

Experiences

There are tons of unique touches our couples can add to their wedding ceremony or reception. With the sand ceremony, couples can enjoy a beach wedding version of the traditional unity candle — filling a jar or vessel with layers of sand. Some brides also provide each guest with a seashell to throw into the water, while making a wish for the happy couple. Another popular trend among brides is to toss beach balls into the crowd after the big kiss — which makes for some beautiful photographs. And of course, fireworks over the ocean are a great addition to any beach wedding. *Please Note: For safety reasons, Walton County does not permit glass containers on the beach.

Let us help you plan the perfect pre-ceremony day of pampering. At Serenity by the sea Spa, our stylists can provide hair and makeup services for the bridal party before the ceremony. The spa also has a tranquil lounge area with massage chairs, fruit infused water, heart healthy snacks and mimosas. We can turn that private space into your perfect bridal ready room — a great alternative for you and your wedding party.

Before / After

The best part about getting married at Hilton Sandestin Beach? We have everything you need right at the resort — no need to travel around! The night before the ceremony, we can set up a bonfire on the beach to bring your guests together before the big day. You can also extend the celebrations post-reception — we’ve had couples turn one of our ballrooms into their own personal night club, with late night snacks, music and more. The next morning, we’ll set up a farewell brunch overlooking the beach. The happy couple can even extend their stay and enjoy their honeymoon at the resort!
